ROME TOWNSHIP — The Wyngate at RiversEdge kicked off the Easter season with a community event on Friday.
A Brunch with the Easter Bunny took place at the senior living community, featuring an egg hunt, photos with the bunny and more.
Activities director Julie Poff said they hid more than 3,000 eggs on the grounds of the complex, many with prizes inside.
In addition to the hunt, tubs of baby chicks and ducks were on hand for children to see.
Poff said these were purchased from a tractor supply store and would be donated to a local farm after the event was over.
There were also several rabbits in the main dining room, provided by Silver Spurs 4-H Club.
Poff said this was the best year for the event and that it drew their biggest crowd yet.
