PROCTORVILLE — The beat goes on for the Fairland Dragons.
Fairland remained unbeaten in the Ohio Valley Conference with a 79-42 win over the Rock Hill Redmen on Tuesday.
Fairland is 14-1overall and has a three-game lead in the league at 8-0.
The Dragons had four players in double figures led by Gunner Short with 22 points and four steals.
Luke Thomas had 16 points  and six rebounds, Isaiah Howell got 13 points, six rebounds, three steals and two blocked shots, and Ty Staten added 10 points, 10 rebounds, four assists and three steals.
Mason Darby and nine pints and 10 rebounds for Rock Hill (2-12, 0-8). Tyler Damron and Tim Adkins also scored nine points for the Redmen.
The Dragons were 31-of-74 from the field for 42 percent. Rock Hill was just 17-of-49 for 35 percent.
Fairland took a 15-8 first quarter lead and went up 33-16 at the half.
Howell scored six points in the third quarter as the Dragons extended their lead to 57-37.
Short scored six more points in the fourth quarter and the defense held the Redmen to just five points.
On Friday, Rock Hill hosts Gallipolis and Fairland visits Ironton.
