The Auxiliary of the VFW Post 8850 hosted the annual children’s Christmas party Thursday, Dec. 15 at the Ironton Post.
On behalf of the Auxiliary, we would like to thank everyone who contributed to making a very special evening for over 50 children.
Thanks to Marco’s Pizza for providing pizza, pop and chips, Family Dollar for help with the chocolate suckers, the El Hasa Shriners for their donation, the Ironton Tribune for their advertising, Ed and Burnadette Burge and to all who attended along with the previous donors for their contributions to this worthy cause.
A big thanks to Santa and Mrs. Claus who led the crowd in singing Jingle Bells, listened to each child’s wish list and gave out treat bags.
