COAL GROVE — The annual Christmas parade is scheduled for Friday, Dec. 2 at Paul Porter Park in Coal Grove.

Refreshments and hot chocolate will be served at the park before the parade, sponsored by the Coal Grove Betterment Club, which organizes community projects in the village.

Some of the group’s work includes funding an annual $1,000 scholarship for a senior at Dawson-Bryant High School, decorating the village and the park for the holiday season, maintaining the park and the Jay Roush Building, and sponsoring the annual Family Fun Days celebration.

Those who are unable to attend the event can still make a donation to the group by sending a check, payable to the Coal grove Betterment Club, to 405 Memorial Street, Coal Grove, Ohio, 45638.
