PINE GROVE — It’s new Math. Three into four equals Rose Auble.

The Ladies Nine Hole Golf Association of the Ironton Country Club had three events during last week’s weekly outing with four winners.

Actually there were three winners but Auble came away with two event wins. Joyce Lewis and Margaret Donley picked up the other two wins.

The Tuesday began with hostess Connie Chamberlin serving homemade treats at the morning business meeting and then she announced the day’s golfing events.

The events and winners were:

Putts — Joyce Lewis, Rose Auble; Most 7s – Rose Auble; Longest Drive — Margaret Donley.

Tuesday also marked the start of the annual Nine Holers Golf Classic that will be completed next Tuesday.

Next week’s hostess will be Margaret Donley. The business meeting starts at 9 a.m. followed by golf at 9:30. As always, new members are welcomed.
