A woman is injured following a trailer fire in the north part of Ironton.
Lt. Joe Marshall with the Ironton Fire Department said the fire was reported at 5:37 p.m. in the 2200 block of North Seventh Street. One person was in the trailer.
“There was a woman that the neighbors pulled out of the trailer, injured, and she was flown out,” Marshall said.
According to Marshall, it only took firefighters a few minutes to extinguish the blaze, but the trailer is a total loss.
A nearby car and a neighboring trailer also suffered some heat damage.
The name of the woman is not being released at this time and her condition is unknown.
Marshall said the state fire marshal’s office will be in town Wednesday morning to investigate the cause of the fire.
