Belford Cade

Feb. 12, 1944 — Dec. 29, 2015

Belford Elsworth (Bill) Cade, of Heath, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2015, at Mt. Carmel East Hospital, Columbus.

The Lawrence County native was born Feb. 12, 1944, the son of the late Glendan and Zona (McCormick) Cade. He is survived by his wife of 29 years Shelby (Briggs) Cade.

Bill was a graduate of Rock Hill High School and was retired from North American Rockwell Inc. He attended Newark Freewill Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Glendon (Bud) Cade Jr.; two sisters, Freda Matthews and Debra Russell; and brother-in-law, David Hackworth.

Bill is survived, in addition to his wife, by son, Paul (Tina) Cade, of Zanesville; daughters, Annette (Mike) Roberts, of Jacksonville, Florida, and Deanna (Mike) Myers, of Palatka, Florida; stepsons, David (Michelle) Watson, of Steubenville and Dean (Tina) Watson, of Newark; 17 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Ron (Betty) Cade, Dwayne (Teresa) Cade, of Ironton and George (Brenda) Cade, of Pedro; five sisters, Kathleen (Ernie) Wilson, of Marysville, Betty (Trubby) May, Kathy (Keith) Bevin, of Ironton, Maxine (John) Haskins, of Pedro, and Delores Hackworth, of Ashland; sister-in-law, Kay Cade, of Ironton; brothers-in-law, Clyde (Sonny) Matthews, of Marysville and Robert Russell, of Ironton; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial in Bill’s honor will be at a later date.

 

Delma Hardgrow

Delma Simms Perry Hardgrow, 97, of Huntington, died Saturday, Jan. 2, 2016. Services will be at Calvary Baptist Church Saturday at 1 p.m. Visitation will be 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the church. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, is in charge of arrangements.

 

Donnette Burns

Donnette Mitchell Burns, 79, of Proctorville, died Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2016, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington, West Virginia. There will be no services. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, is in charge of arrangements.

 

Roy Conrad

Roy Allen Conrad, 63, of Salt Rock, West Virginia, died Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2016, at the VA Medical Center, Huntington. There will be no services. Shirley Wilson

Shirley J. Wilson, 75, of Barboursville, West Virginia, died Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2016, at Chateau Grove Senior Living, Barboursville. Arrangements are pending at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville.
