The residents at the Ironton Senior Center enjoyed some live music entertainment Friday morning from the Country Knights.

“The center always used to have music of some fashion,” Patti Deer, senior citizens liaison of the Ironton Health Department, said. “When I came in, I found out they haven’t had music in about six months, so I was going to try to get a group in.”

Deer said she knows the Country Knights personally and asked them to come perform for the seniors.

“This group will come back,” Deer said. “I think it’s good for the seniors to have this type of outlet.”

The Country Knights consist of Luke Anderson, Bill Pancake, Jerry Deer, Lonnie Triplett, Darrell Davis and Dave Shug.
