Ashland, Ky. — Susan G. Komen will host a Fit for The Cure event at the Belk store at Ashland Town Center from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 24. Wacoal fit specialists will be on hand providing free bra fittings and advice on intimate apparel.
For the past 15 years, Wacoal has partnered with Susan G. Komen donating $4 million to help fund breast cancer research.
Fit for the Cure stages bra fitting events in more than 1,200 stores in the U.S. every year. While no purchase is necessary, Wacoal donates $2 to Susan G. Komen for every woman who participates in a fitting. Wacoal also donates $2 for every bra and shapewear purchase. Donations will continue to support breast cancer awareness, treatment and research.
Locally, King’s Daughters has received more than $200,000 in Susan G. Komen funds over the years for mobile mammography services and to assist local women with mammograms, breast MRI, breast ultrasound and biopsy.
As a bonus, with any $80 Wacoal purchase, Belk is offering a free gift that includes a travel spa beauty system: four-in-one body brush, facial brush, sponge, pumice and nail file.
Before leaving the Fit for the Cure event, take a photo or selfie with our I Got Fit! Sign and post on social media with the hashtag #IGotFit.
Walcoal will donate another $1 for every photo posted with the hashtag through November.
