Assault — South Point Middle School, March 27, male student alleged another male student pushed him into desks causing him to fall; student suspended for 10 days and released to parents.
Petty theft — A private drive off County Road 59 in Chesapeake, March 28, tablet stolen from residence; suspect allegedly admitted to pawning the item; negative contact with suspect.
Breaking and entering — 1300 block County Road 17, South Point, trailer broken into, various tools, DVDs, country music CDs, guitars taken.
Theft — A private drive in Proctorville, March 25, electronics, check book and pistol taken from vehicle.

Unlawful sexual conduct with minor — Location not given, April 1, woman alleged 3-year-old son told her his uncle touched his privates; negative contact with suspect.
Domestic violence — A private drive in South Point, March 29, woman alleged 14-year-old daughter hit her; juvenile taken to group home.
Assault — 1400 block Township Road 82, Proctorville, March 26, man alleged another man pushed him and put him in a head lock and choked him; witnesses on scene reported the same story; suspect alleged he was defending himself; Robert Calaway, 40, of 1780 County Road 121, Proctorville, cited to court.
Assault — Lawrence County Jail, March 28, inmate alleged another inmate beat him for no reason; victim taken to hospital for severe head bleeding.
Petty theft, criminal trespass — Walmart, South Point, woman allegedly banned from store tried to take video games; Meghan Ray, 29, of 7016 Beech Drive, Huntington, arrested.
