SP 8th grade in tourney semifinals

SOUTH POINT — The South Point Junior Pointers 8th grade beat the Rock Hill Junior Redmen 48-32 in the Ohio Valley Conference Middle School Tournament play-in game.

In other games, Ironton beat Portmsouth and Coal Grove downed Chesapeake.

In Monday’s semifinal games, Ironton plays Coal Grove at 5:30 p.m. followed by South Point and Fairland at 6:45.
