SOUTH POINT — A driver crashed his car into a mobile home Tuesday morning after falling asleep at the wheel.

South Point Police responded to the scene at Fourth Street and Valley Drive. The accident happened just after 8 a.m. and the impact knocked the mobile home off its supports.

The driver was taken to a local hospital as a precaution. The residents of the home were not injured.
