Breaking and entering, petty theft, criminal damaging — 90 block Township Road 122, Willow Wood, Nov. 11, electrical wiring taken from garage.

Theft — 1000 block County Road 1, South Point, Nov. 12, $19 and Tracfone taken.

Petty theft, possession of heroin — Walmart, South Point, Nov. 1, woman allegedly opened a cell phone and took it out of the store without paying; woman also allegedly had drug paraphernalia and heroin on her person; Sarah Meabon, 32, of 2208 Kirby Road, Milton, West Virginia, arrested.

Petty theft — Walmart, South Point, Nov. 2, male and female allegedly left store without paying for all items; Jason Kimberlin, 19, and Keisha Kimberlin, 18, both of 220 Big Hurricane Creek Road, Prichard, West Virginia, arrested.

Petty theft — Walmart, South Point, Nov. 4, man allegedly tried to return an old Xbox game in a new case; Derek Bowman, 19, of 622 Fourth St. W., Huntington, arrested.

Petty theft — Walmart, South Point, Nov. 7, man allegedly left store without paying for items; Matthew Rice, 35, of 5000 Friendship Road, Catlettsburg, Kentucky, arrested.

Harassment by an inmate, intimidation — County jail, Nov. 7, inmate allegedly became violent after he arrived at jail; inmate needed medical attention from an alleged bar fight he was in, which resulted in his initial arrest, restrained until medical personnel arrived; inmate allegedly spit blood in deputy’s face and threatened to kill him and his family; Justin Kersey, 26, of 2444 S. Sixth St., Ironton, charged.

Petty theft — Walmart, South Point, Nov. 7, man with ban from store allegedly caught stealing; woman also trespassing; John Taylor, 28, and Joni Ross, 25, both of 830 Virginia Ave., Huntington, arrested.

Petty theft — Walmart, South Point, Nov. 8, man allegedly let store without paying for items; Cory Frasher, 30, of 1606 W. Cross St., Ashland, arrested.

Aggravated burglary — 9500 block County Road 1, South Point, Nov. 1, woman alleged man broke into their home and pulled a knife on them; identified suspect left on foot.

Domestic violence — 4500 block County Road 29, Pedro, Nov. 1, woman alleged husband became violent during an argument and threw her to the ground; negative contact with suspect at time of report.

Domestic violence — 80 block Township Road 1135, Proctorville, Nov. 1, woman alleged her son came to her residence wanting money; she allegedly gave him $20 and told him not to return, after which time he pushed her into her couch; negative contact with suspect at time of report.

Felonious assault — U.S. 52, South Point, Nov. 1, woman reported being followed by a white vehicle which honked and flashed its lights at her; woman pulled over, at which time an unidentified black male exited the white car and pulled the woman from her vehicle and cut her with a knife; male fled after someone in a passing car yelled out.

Petty theft — 70 block Township Road 1204, Proctorville, Nov. 3, woman alleged her son stole her grandchildren’s new clothing, a check and an iPhone.

 

 

 

 

Making terroristic threat — Walmart, South Point, Nov. 4, unidentified caller allegedly reported a bomb in the store.

Theft — 1300 block County Road 15, South Point, Nov. 4, iPod Touch, Playstation 3 and games taken; suspect named.

Domestic violence — A private drive in South Point, Nov. 5, woman alleged husband slapped her in the face several times and threatened to kill her and the children.

Disrupting public service, domestic violence, criminal damaging — 100 block Township Road 185, Chesapeake, woman alleged live-in boyfriend became angry and slapped her and slammed her into the ground and broke her cell phone.

Rape — Chesapeake, Nov. 7, 16-year-old girl alleged her uncle touched her inappropriately about two years ago but was scared to report the incidences at the time; negative contact with suspect at time of report.

Theft — 1100 block Township Road 268, Ironton, Nov. 6, shot gun missing from residence; suspect named.

Criminal damaging, petty theft — Rogers Cemetery, County Road 41 S., Decatur Township, Nov. 7, woman reported son’s tombstone broken; another woman reported solar lights taken.

Petty theft — 100 block Township Road 1021, South Point, Nov. 8, coils from air unit taken.

Domestic violence, unauthorized use of motor vehicle — 100 block Township Road 286, Chesapeake, Nov. 8, man alleged his son threatened to burn the house down and kill him; on another date the suspect allegedly took his father’s vehicle without permission; negative contact with suspect.

Burglary — 10 block Township Road 1372, Proctorville, Nov. 9, firearm and pills taken from residence.

Burglary — 200 block Township Road 1204, Proctorville, Nov. 9, TV taken from residence.

Domestic violence, disrupting public service — 1300 block County Road 31, Chesapeake, Nov. 9, woman alleged husband tried to kick her out of their home, threw a plastic tote at her head and took her cell phone.
