Drinks, football, food and fellowship can all be found at the Ro-Na Theater in Ironton beginning this Saturday during “Game Day at the Ro-Na.”
“It’s another way to raise money so we can keep doing what we are doing at the Ro-Na,” Suzie Hamlin, member of the Friends of Ironton, said. “Proceeds will go toward restoration efforts.”
Two flat-screen TVs will show games beginning at 11 a.m. with Wisconsin vs. Maryland. Michigan vs. Michigan State will play at 3:30 p.m. on one TV while the other shows Marshall and Florida Atlantic. The final game televised is the 8 p.m. matchup of Ohio State and Penn State.
Admission is free and there is a charge for food and drinks.
“We will have a couple different kinds of soups and sandwiches and our bar will be open,” Hamlin said. “We all are really looking forward to it.”
Vegetable soup, chili, and peanut butter and grilled cheese sandwiches are some items being offered.
