SOUTH POINT — South Point residents looking for parts or accessories to keep their automobiles in tip top shape will soon have a new option.
Advance Auto Parts, the largest aftermarket auto parts provider in North America, is opening a new location in Tri-State Crossing on County Road 120. The store is set to have its grand opening in three days on Aug. 6.
“This new store and its 11 team members will delight our customers with dependable and face service every day,” Hal Stewart, district leader for Advance Auto Parts said. “We will also provide reasonable pricing for our goods and services. The right parts at the right price are as important as the right advice to finish the job.”
Brian Burgess will be the location’s general manger. Burgess has 25 years of experience in the automotive parts and retail industry, spending the last 13 with Advance Auto Parts. Being committed to the community is something Burgess said was important to him and the company as the new store gets set to open for business.
“At Advance service is our best part,” he said. “We want to be involved in the community that our customers and employees live in and to show that we are committed, Advance has made a $1,000 donation to the local United Way.”
A ribbon cutting ceremony for the store will be at 9 a.m. Aug. 14. The store will also be open daily from 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
