In order to increase convenience and access the Coal Grove Village Hall will change its operating hours beginning July 1.

The hall currently operates 7 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday through Friday, but village clerk-treasurer Diana Wise said residents’ work schedules and other obligations often hinder their ability to make it to the hall before it closes.

“The idea behind the change in hours is to make it easier for people in the village,” Wise said. “We heard from some people that they just couldn’t make it in before we closed, so we think this will help with that.”

The hall will be open 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
