The 28th annual Charity Fair sponsored by the Catholic Community will take place 11 a.m.-11 p.m. on Saturday, May 24, and Sunday, May 25, and 9 a.m.-1 p.m. on Monday, May 26 at the St. Joe High School parking lot.
Charity Fair Committee member Cara Clark said this year’s fair would feature a new event.
“Saturday night we will have a cruise-in car show,” she said. “Anyone who wants to be part of the car show can just show up at St. Joe High School on that Saturday. There will be prizes for winning car show participants.”
There will be inflatables, games, food and a basket raffle, Clark said, and City Heat will play on Sunday.
Cash prizes totaling $10,000 will be given away during the three-day event with the drawing for the $5,000 grand prize at 1 p.m. on Monday, May 26. Second prize is $2,500 in cash, third prize is $1,000 and the next 10 prizes are $100. Two $50 attendance prizes will be awarded on Saturday and Sunday.
Attendance is not required to win any of the prizes except in regard to the four $50 attendance prizes.
Tickets are available for a $10 donation and can be obtained by calling the school at 740-532-0485. Chris Monte, Sissy Clyse and Clark comprise the Charity Fair Committee.
