COAL GROVE- The Lawrence County Health Department is hosting an immunization carnival Tuesday at Paul Porter Park.

The purpose of the carnival is to provide parents with education about immunization. Local health care representatives and CareSource will be on hand to disseminate information.

Children will also be able to enjoy inflatables, Sno Cones, cotton candy, pizza and free face painting. Admission to the carnival is also free.

The carnival will begin at 5 p.m. and all children must be accompanied by an adult. There will be no immunizations given at the event but appointments for future immunizations can be made.
