Ironton Mayor Rich Blankenship will have a public meeting to inform and update residents about the city’s riverfront development.

People have been sporadically asking me about it,” Blankenship said. “We are to the point now where I am able to say exactly where we are.”

The meeting will take place at 6 p.m. on Monday, April 14, in city council chambers on the third floor of the city building in downtown Ironton.

“I encourage anyone who has any interest to attend,” Blankenship said. “I will discuss where we have been in regard to the riverfront development, where we are now, where we need to be and where we are going.”
