Westbound U.S. 52 one lane at Ashland, Ky., bridges

The westbound lane of U.S. 52 is reduced to one lane at the 12.5-mile marker, just west of Township Road 268 (Crabtree Hollow Road) and near the Ashland, Ky., twin bridges, due to a rock slide.
Debris and small rocks have fallen from the hillside ledges, requiring ODOT crews to restrict the route to one lane. Crews are working to clear the roadway, as well as to assess and clear additional rock from the hillside as needed.
Westbound traffic is being maintained in one lane, and eastbound traffic currently is not affected by this restriction. The restriction will remain in effect until further notice.
