Domestic violence — 3600 block State Route 7, Chesapeake, Sept. 9, woman alleged live-in boyfriend threatened her with a modified flare gun after she told him she didn’t love him anymore; negative contact with suspect at time of report.

Theft — 7300 block State Route 141, Kitts Hill, Sept. 9, woman reported firearm taken from residence.

Burglary — 1600 block County Road 411, Proctorville, Sept. 10, man reported home under renovation ransacked, copper pipes taken, misc. items taken.

Complaint — Sept. 10, woman filled out a statement at the sheriff’s office alleging a man in a black SUV cut her off on U.S. 52; complaint alleged the man appeared angry and began following her, shouting and giving hand gestures; woman reported the vehicle followed her into Hanging Rock and got out of his car while she was stopped at a stop sign; man was allegedly wearing a shirt with the word “POLICE” across the front; man allegedly continued to curse at the woman and threatened to take her to jail but would not identify who he was; woman alleged she was afraid he was impersonating a police officer but later alleged she had identified him as a South Point police officer using Facebook.

Domestic violence, felonious assault — 1000 block County Road 1, South Point, Aug. 15, woman alleged man threatened to beat her if she entered the apartment and brandished a shot gun; Eric Johnson, 27, of the same address, arrested.

Domestic violence, violating protection order — Walmart, South Point, Sept. 4, woman alleged father of unborn child tried to run over her; Gerrad Young, 28, of 19 Private Drive 30, Lot 2, Chesapeake, arrested.

Domestic violence — Country Hearth Inn, South Point, Sept. 6, woman alleged boyfriend pushed her into a wall, smacked her face and threw her on the floor; Willie Abbott, 28, who lives at the inn, arrested.

Assault — 300 block Township Road 1057, Proctorville, Sept. 9, woman alleged neighbor slapped her across the face during a dispute; Linda Sue Thompson, 69, of 373 Township Road 1057, Proctorville, cited to court.
