South Point falls 1-0 to Red Devils

SOUTH POINT — The score said it all.
In a tightly, well-contested game, the Russell Red Devils beat the South Point Pointers 1-0 Tuesday in a soccer game.
Patrick Soucy scored the game’s lone goal at the 48-minute mark of the second half.
Goalkeeper Brady Rickard had 10 saves for the Pointers. Russell had five saves.
South Point (5-1-1) had two corner kicks while Russell had eight.
The Pointers play at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday at St. Joseph.
