Betty Ciesinski
Sept. 13, 1936-May 10, 2013
Betty Ciesinski, 76, of Ironton, passed away Friday May 10, 2013, with her family at her side after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born Sept. 13, 1936, a daughter of the late Asa Sites and the late Mary Smith Sites. She and her second husband owned the former B and B Grill in Springfield, a former baker at Tipton’s, and an operator for the former Ohio Bell Telephone Co. in Ironton. She sold Avon where she was a member of the Avon Presidents Club, a member of the Windsor Grange Organization on 217, VFW Post 6878 Ladies Auxiliary of Proctorville, AARP, Lawrence County Senior Citizen Center and was of the Baptist faith being a member of the Zoar Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three husbands, Edward R. Fritz, Robert Patrick and Gregory Ciesinski, brothers, Bobby ,Joe, Kenny, and Paul Sites; two sisters, Alice Sites and Marie Hicks, and a granddaughter Olivia Lee Fritz.
Betty leaves to mourn her passing a loving daughter, Becky (Tom) Adams of Ironton; two sons, Ken (Terri) Fritz of Dublin and Rick (Lisa) Fritz of Gahana; a brother; Asa (Sarah) Sites Jr. of South Point; a sister, Mary Lou Sites of Ironton, eight grandchildren;18 great grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Barbara and Nancy Sites; and a host of family and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at noon Thursday at Brown Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in the Zoar Cemetery.

Arty Gene Williamson, 74, of Proctorville, died Monday, May 13, 2013, at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington, W.Va. Funeral service will be conducted 1 p.m. Thursday at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville by Pastor Carl Lilly. Burial will be in Rome Cemetery, Proctorville. Thomas Leo Black, 64, of Ironton, died Sunday, May 12, 2013, at Cabell Huntington Hospital. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point.
