Burglary, felonious assault — 3900 block County Road 55B, South Point, 12:30 a.m. Thursday, man allegedly spotted prowler, when the man went to investigate, he was allegedly struck in the head with a metal object, man taken to hospital for possible concussion, suspect named.
Petty theft — 3300 block Township Road 160, Pedro, 12:15 a.m. Wednesday, AT&T employee alleged 318 feet of 50 pair wire stolen from phone poles.
Breaking and entering — 400 block Second St. East, South Point, 11:52 a.m. Tuesday, man alleged shotgun stolen from residence.
Recovery — Township Road 179, Upper Township, 10 p.m. Tuesday, man reported he found his stolen ATV behind an abandoned house, suspect named.
Menacing — Lawrence County Educational Service Center, Elizabeth Township, 2 p.m. Wednesday, student allegedly threatened to cut teacher’s fingers off, have the building burned down and that he would shoot her, juvenile taken to the Lawrence County Detention Center.
