Burglary — Thursday, 7:35 p.m. 3051/2 Hellen Street, South Point- victim’s coins were taken along with jewelry.

Burglary — Thursday, 3:01 p.m. at 31 Township Road 187 West Chesapeake – Two males broke into victim’s house, suspects were described as wearing blue jeans, black shoes, ski masks, jersey gloves and being around 6 foot 2 and being really skinny.

Burglary — Tuesday, 6:59 p.m. 2446 Township Road 287 North Chesapeake, TV, CD player, toys and cash were taken from residence, no suspects were named at this time.

Assault — County Road 15, South Point, 6:12 p.m. Wednesday, woman assaulted while sleeping, victim rescued by third person who pulled suspect off victim, suspect named.

Domestic — Perry Township, 5:59 p.m. Thursday, woman assaulted by ex-husband during child custody exchange.

Purse snatching— Walmart, Burlington, 2:45 p.m. Thursday, credit card taken from purse of customer, used without her permission, suspect identified, suspect returned to store later, detained for another unrelated theft, apprehended, denied both incidents and then admitted to offenses, Ashley D. Dodson, 25, 23 Private Drive 9179, Kitts Hill, arrested and taken to jail.

Burglary — 600 block County Road 59, Chesapeake 9:50 p.m. Wednesday, TV, wii controller, tramadol taken.
