Judge D. Scott Bowling set bond at $50,000 cash or surety but allowed him to post 10 percent; a $50,000 own recognizance (OR) bond was added to that.

Bowling required Couch to submit to electronically monitored home confinement and ordered him to stay away from his alleged victim, who is a 15-year-old girl, Assistant Lawrence County Prosecutor Brigham Anderson said.

Couch must return to court April 18 for a pretrial conference.

Also Wednesday, Judy L. Campbell, 55, of 2507 Farm Hill Drive, Flatwoods, Ky., was arraigned on felony charges of forgery, identity fraud, and possession of drugs and misdemeanor charges of possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.

She pleaded not guilty through her attorney, Chris Delawder. Bowling set a $25,000 OR bond and scheduled a pretrial conference for March 28.

Randall H. Staton, 49, of 4002 Powell Road, Parkersburg, W.Va., was arraigned on three felony counts and three misdemeanor counts of non-support. He pleaded not guilty through his attorney, J.T. Holt.

Bowling set a pretrial conference for next week. Anderson said Staton owes approximately $8,000 for the care of three children.
