Robert Reynolds

Robert James Reynolds, 78, a resident of Ironton, passed away Saturday, Jan. 14, 2012, at Jo-Lin Health Center from complications of a stroke suffered on Dec. 30, 2011.

He was born on Jan. 12, 1934, in Portsmouth, the son of Chester and Inez Conrad Reynolds.

He was predeceased by his parents and his brother and sister in-law, Ray C. and Winona Z. Reynolds, and his sisters, Pauline Templeton and Marianne Ehrlichman. He was also predeceased by his niece, Rina A. Reynolds.

He is survived by his niece, Diane Ehrlichman of New York City; his nephew, Richard Ehrlichman (Isabel) of Havre de Grace, Md.; his nephew, Paul D. Ehrlichman (Mary) of Kennett Square, Pa.; and his nephew, Larry H. Zornes (Julie) of Dillon, S. C. He is also survived by a great-niece, Melissa Anne Ehrlichman, and three great nephews, Paul D. Ehrlichman, Jr., Daniel Ehrlichman, and Richard S. Ehrlichman.

Tracy Brammer – Monroe Funeral home in Ironton is handling the arrangements with visitation 6-8 p.m. Thursday and 10-11 a.m. Friday with a brief service following with Brother Chad Pemberton officiating. Interment will follow in Adams County. The family would like to thank the medical staff at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital and Community Hospice of Ironton for their care and help during his illness.

 

Beverly Hanshaw

Beverly Sue Hanshaw, 52, of Ironton, died Sunday, Jan.15, 2012, at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Ky.

She was born June 11, 1959, in Ashland Ky., the daughter of Delores Presley Gussler of Ashland, Ky., and the late Charles Gussler.

Also surviving is her husband, George H. Crum, of Ironton; children, George A. Crum, Michael S. Crum, and Angie D. Layne, all of Ironton; and four grandchildren; two brothers, Donald Gussler of Catlettsburg, Ky.; and Bill Gussler of Ashland, and a sister, Tonya Albright of Greenup, Ky.

Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday at Miller Funeral Home by Pastor Tom Leach. Burial will follow in Coalton Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

 

Betty McComas

CHESAPEAKE — Betty DeArmond Schneider McComas, 82, of Chesapeake, died Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2012, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House in Huntington, W.Va. Memorial will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Chesapeake. Arrangements are under the direction of Hall Funeral Home.
