Suspicious person — 500 block North Fourth Street, 1:45 a.m. Friday, man seen running down alley, allegedly dropping PS3 player and other items as he ran, items collected, man located and taken to 400 block North Second Street, permission given to search premises.

House ransacked — 400 block Etna Street, 2 a.m. Friday, TV PS3 player, DVD player taken.

Children trying to break into truck — 3600 block South Third Street, 2:06 a.m. Friday, negative contact.

Man behind dumpster — City Mission, North Fifth Street, 3:37 a.m. Friday, negative contact.

Speak to officer— reported at police station, 10:34 a.m. Friday, company manual given to competitor.

Credit card fraud — Reported at police station 10:36 a.m. Friday.

Check fraud — Reported at police station, 11 a.m. Friday.

Credit card fraud — Reported at police station, noon Friday, someone from Hungary trying to use victim’s credit card.

Stolen check cashed — Reported at police station, 1:16 p.m. Friday.

Dog bite — 1700 block Reynolds Street, 2:45 p.m. Friday, dog taken to police station.

Pedestrian stop — 4:34 p.m. Friday, Julius Sudderth, 55, 819 S. Seventh St., Ironton, arrested on outstanding warrant and taken to jail.

Children on railroad tracks — Third and Elm streets, 4:50 p.m. Friday, negative contact.

Vandalism — 2700 block South Eighth Street, 5 p.m. Friday, residence damaged.

Trouble — Sixth and Hecla streets, 8:06 p.m. Friday, children setting off explosives, advised if they don’t stop they will be arrested.

Domestic — 1400 block South Fourth Street, 8:59 p.m. Friday, woman causing trouble, left prior to officer’s arrival.

Accident — Vicinity of Etna and North Second streets Friday, one taken to hospital, citation issued.
