Shots fired — 2600 block South Sixth Street, 12:12 a.m. Saturday, someone firing gun, suspect did not answer knock at door, officers agreed to keep check.

Prowler — 700 block North Fifth Street, 2:42 a.m. Saturday, negative contact.

Shoplifter — Dollar General Store, South Third Street, 1:28 p.m. Saturday, one man cited to court.

Trouble — 700 block North Fifth Street, 2:10 p.m. Saturday, man trying to kick door in.

Assault — 1600 block South Fourth Street, 4:54 p.m. Saturday, one taken to hospital but refused to file charges against alleged assailant.

Assault — 600 block South Eighth Street, 8:30 p.m. Saturday, woman allegedly cut and locked in bedroom, suspect named, Jeffrey L. Lewis, 41, 2218 North Sixth St., Ironton, arrested on outstanding warrant and taken to jail.

Fight — Ninth and Quincy streets, 9:07 p.m. Saturday, seven people involved, refused to cooperate.

Trouble — Moose parking lot, South Third Street 12:57 a.m. Sunday, two men reportedly swinging at each other, negative contact.

Fight — Third and Pine streets, 1:07 a.m. Sunday, one man taken to police department.

Trouble — Boomer’s South Third Street, 1:12 a.m. Sunday.

Trouble — 1600 block South Fourth Street, 4:35 a.m. Sunday, man causing trouble left prior to officer’s arrival.

Domestic — 200 block North Sixth Street, 10:04 a.m. Sunday, man left prior to officer’s arrival.

Domestic — 500 block Hecla Street, 10:43 a.m. Sunday, victim refused to file charges.

Theft— 500 block Washington Street, 10:50 a.m. Sunday, tailgate lens taken.

Domestic — 500 block Hecla Street, 1:28 p.m. Sunday, advised.

Domestic — 600 block North Fifth Street, 10:25 p.m. Sunday, man reportedly slapped in face, refused to cooperate with police.

Domestic — 1500 block South Second Street, 11:30 p.m. Sunday, one male juvenile taken to group home.
