Ironton police

Suspicious vehicle — 1900 block Liberty Avenue, 12:25 a.m. Friday, people said they were waiting for someone, moved on.

Trespassing — Close To Home, South Fifth and Vernon Streets, 12:59 p.m. Friday, man causing trouble, jail refused to take, moved on.

Fight — 400 block Vernon Street, 11:27 a.m. Friday, two women in van with West Virginia tags fighting, located, fled on foot in different directions.

Uninvited house guests — 1100 block South Seventh Street, 12:55 p.m. two people with outstanding warrants at that address and not welcome, Che Estep, 31, 2622 S. Sixth St., Ironton, and Marianna Sisler, 28, Franklin Furnace, both arrested and taken to jail.

Sexual assault — Reported at police station, 3:30 p.m. Friday, man reported son assaulted, incident occurred in county, sent to sheriff’s office.

Sexual assault — Reported at police station, 3:35 p.m. Friday, woman reported she was raped in city last Saturday.

Theft — River City Wireless, 202 Vernon St., 5:10 p.m. Friday, dummy phone taken.

Shoplifter — CVS, South Third Street, 7:14 p.m. Friday, man and woman reportedly stealing “booze”, other items.

Domestic — 2400 block South Sixth Street, 2:52 a.m. Saturday, man reportedly struck with baseball bat.

Assault — reported at the police station, 8 a.m. Saturday, man assaulted.

Domestic — 700 block Vernon Street, 10:04 a.m. Saturday, woman reportedly causing trouble, left, returned, all advised.

Suspicious person — 1600 block Thomas Street, 2:50 p.m. Saturday, two guys reportedly going door to door asking for work, Brian D. Lunsford, 29, 4041/2 S. Fourth St., Ironton, arrested on outstanding warrant and taken to jail.

Domestic — 600 block Hecla Street, 3:36 p.m. Saturday, man and woman assaulted.

Sexual abuse — Reported at police station 5 p.m. Saturday, child possible abused by mom’s boyfriend, man located and ordered to stay away from victim and victim’s residence pending outcome of Children’s Services investigation.

Suspicious person — 1600 block South Fourth Street, 7:03 p.m. Saturday, woman going to door to door asking for money.

— Christopher Ratliff, 21, 11607 County Road 14, Waterloo, domestic violence Thursday by the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office.

—William Caplinger Jr., 25, 278, Township Road 140 E., Pedro, assault, criminal trespass, petty theft Friday by the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office.

—Michael J. Haas, 40, 271 Private Drive 889, Chesapeake, outstanding warrant Friday by the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office.

— Joey K. Adkins, 29, 2622 S. Sixth St., Ironton, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest Friday by the Ironton Police Department.

— Anthony Walker, 31, Huntington, W.Va., outstanding warrant for failure to appear Friday by the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office.
