Receiving stolen property, theft — Township Road 1408S, South Point, 1:33 p.m. Thursday, handgun and laptop taken from residence, suspects named, admitted to victim he had sold laptop to two other people and pawned the gun in Ashland, Ky., two other suspects admitted they purchased laptop knowing it was stolen, Levi Garred, 24, 11 Township Road 1408S, South Point, and 17-year-old female juvenile cited to court, suspect wanted for theft at large.

Shoplifter — Speedway, Eighth Street and Park Avenue, 12:06 a.m. Thursday, suspect detained, advised police en route, paid for items and left.

Stolen vehicle — 600 block North Fourth Street, 2:29 a.m. Thursday, maroon Dodge Shadow taken.

Man down — Eighth and Quincy streets, 11:39 a.m. Thursday, taken to hospital.
