Suspicious person — 1900 block Liberty Avenue, 1:48 a.m. Friday, two men trying to get into vehicles, negative contact.

Vandalism — Woodland Cemetery, 9:53 a.m. Friday, more damage discovered.

Man with gun — Several callers, 3300 block South Third Street 1:04 p.m. Friday, man reportedly walking into businesses and reporting he had murdered his brother, located at Third and Lorain Streets, officers determined he had not shot his brother, he only wanted a ride to welfare office and did not want to walk to get there, no gun found.

Fight — 700 block Washington Street, 2:19 p.m. Friday, all advised.

Theft — 600 block Railroad Street, 4:01 p.m. Friday, dirt bike taken.

Drunk man — 2400 block South Ninth Street, 4:57 p.m. Friday, no room at jail, man taken to his residence.

Trouble — American Legion, Quincy Street 7:26 p.m. Friday, those causing trouble left prior to officers’ arrival.

Theft — Frogtown, South Third Street, 11:11 p.m. Friday, dark blue jeep with soft top taken.
