CHESAPEAKE — Just like the Eagles’ song, the Chesapeake Lady Panthers “took it to the limit.”

The Lady Panthers went five sets as they stunned the River Valley Lady Raiders in an Ohio Valley Conference volleyball game on Thursday.

Chesapeake won 25-21, 17-25, 25-11, 23-25 and 15-11 in the tiebreaker.

Caitlin Heffner scored 22 points to pace the offense for Chesapeake. Sarah Rice had a solid all-around game with 11 points and 12 assists.

Along the front line Macy Allen had nine points and 12 kills while Amanda Ruffner racked up 15 blocks and eight kills.
