Domestic — Union Township Saturday, woman reportedly destroying property, scratched herself with broken glass, left in vehicle that did not have proper tags or insurance, suspect named.
Felonious assault — 1200 block County Road 71, Proctorville Saturday, man allegedly menacing two women with a gun, shot into furniture, Gregory Scott Devaney, 43, 1248 County Road 71, Proctorville, arrested and taken to jail.
Breaking and entering — 100 block Township Road 1334, South Point Saturday, juveniles allegedly stealing items off porches in area of recent criminal activity, two males apprehended and taken to group home.
Domestic — Perry Township Sunday, man with knife allegedly menacing people, Paul J. Murphy, 40, Huntington, W.Va., arrested and taken to jail.
Theft — Sybene Independent Missionary Baptist Church, County Road 1, South Point Sunday, three offering envelopes allegedly taken from children’s classes, suspect located, denied taking three envelopes, allegedly handed back one envelope, Amy Dawn Porter, 34, 30 Township Road 1079, Chesapeake, arrested and taken to jail.
Domestic — Fayette Township Sunday, woman allegedly beaten several times over period of days, phone taken, marijuana plants and pot pipes found during search of house, Matthew Taylor, 26, 7992 County Road 1, South Point, arrested and taken to jail.
Breaking and entering — County Road 25, Pedro Monday, trailer entered, copper wiring and pipes taken.
Aggravated burglary — Washington Township Monday, residence entered, guns stolen, suspects surprised by homeowner who gave descriptions to deputy.
