Sheriff’s office
Breaking and entering, theft — 500 block County Road 1, South Point Monday, outbuilding entered, two trimmers, leaf blower, air compressor taken.
Animals running at large — Private Drive 155, Proctorville Sunday, several dogs reportedly running at large running into people’s houses, owner cited to court.
Theft — Private Drive 704, South Point Monday, CD player, camera, taken from vehicle.
Vandalism — Chesapeake Southern Baptist Church, Township Road 1010, Chesapeake, window broken, metal railings taken.
Ironton police
Stolen vehicle — 500 block North Fourth Street, 7:58 a.m. Monday, mini van taken, later recovered and returned to owner.
Vandalism — 1500 block South Fourth Street, 9:16 a.m. Monday, vehicle damaged.
Trouble — Carey Tires, South Third Street, 12:27 p.m. Monday, man reportedly trying to steal car, apprehended and taken to police station.
Domestic — 800 block South 10th Street, 2:08 p.m. Monday, 17-year-old girl taken to group home.
Accident with injuries — South Third and Lorain streets, 4:05 p.m. Monday, fire department, EMS notified.
Trouble — Speedway, Eighth Street and Park Avenue, 6:45 p.m. Monday, man who had been banned from store back and causing trouble, left prior to officer’s arrival, located at BP station next door and warned not to return.
Suspicious person — 2700 block South Ninth Street, 10:22 p.m. Monday, person reportedly looking under cars, left prior to officers’ arrival, negative contact.
Prowlers — Vicinity of Sixth and Railroad streets, 11:30 p.m. Monday, groups of kids reportedly congregating behind church, making noise, negative contact.

— Jess Pritchard, 35, 614 Hecla St., Ironton, outstanding warrants Monday by the Lawrence County Drug And Major Crimes Task Force.
— Timothy A. Smith, 40, 54 Private Drive 70, South Point, unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, holder from Montgomery County Tuesday by the South Point Police Department.
— Charles R. Johnson II, 22, 2116 County Road 15, South Point, outstanding warrant, falsification Sunday by the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office.
