COAL GROVE — The Lucasville Valley Indians used a pair of aces to trump the Coal Grove Hornets.

Luke Keller ran for 129 yards and scored two touchdowns while Blake Yates turned in a big defensive effort with 10 tackles and two interceptions as the Indians beat the Hornets 33-14 on Friday night.

Coal Grove (1-2) trailed 7-6 at the end of the first quarter on a touchdown run by Kyle Estep, but the Indians scored 19 points in the second quarter to take a 26-6 halftime lead.
