An eight-man, four–woman Lawrence County Common Pleas Jury this afternoon found Megan Goff guilty of murder in the death five years ago of her estranged husband, Bill Goff. The jury came back with its verdict just after 1 p.m. This is a step lower than the aggravated murfder charge for which she was first convicted. That conviction was overturned last year by the Ohio Supreme Court. Goff now faces 18 years to life in prison— 15 years for the murder and an automatic, mandatory three-year sentence because she used a gun in the crime.
