Beverly Haynes

SOUTH POINT — Beverly Haynes, 59, of South Point, passed away Friday, July 29, 2011, at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Ky.

The Ashland, Ky., native was born Jan. 18, 1952, the daughter of the late James Ambrose and Ella Diamond O’Neal. She is survived by her husband, Jeffrey Vernon Haynes, whom she married Dec. 3, 1988.

Mrs. Haynes attended Paul G. Blazer High School and was a member of the Class of 1970. She was a successful small business owner of Bev’s Dispatch Service. She loved reading, flower gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren. Beverly was an incredibly devoted mother, grandmother, wife and friend. She will be missed by many children and families whose lives she made better. She was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Bryson Haynes of South Point; a daughter, Brooke Hardwick of Ashland, Ky.; a daughter; Cindy Hardwick of Olive Hill, Ky.; a son, Jason Hardwick of Owensboro, Ky.; a son, Jeffrey II and Angela Haynes of Kitts Hill; a daughter, Ginny and George Anderson III of South Point; 10 grandchildren, Ella Daniels, Shelby Haynes, Christian Haller, Hunter Haynes, Danielle Hardwick, Justin Hardwick, George Anderson IV, Grace Worthington, McKenzie Hardwick, and Ace Anderson; a brother, Ronnie and Carolyn O’Neal; a brother, Darrell and Connie O’Neal; a sister, Linda and Ken Blevins and a brother, Bo and Faye O’Neal.

Graveside services will be 12:30 p.m. Tuesday in Woodland Cemetery with the Rev. Charles Lane officiating. Visitation will be 10 a.m.- until noon Tuesday at Phillips Funeral Home.
