Codi Arnoldt

CHESAPEAKE – Codi Lloyd Arnoldt, 19, of Chesapeake, love of his family’s life, his parents’ whole life and the center of their world, passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2011.

He was born Feb. 19, 1992, in Huntington, W.Va., a son of Garland and Tracey Arnoldt of Chesapeake. He was preceded in death by two grandfathers, Garland “Pappaw Shagg” Arnoldt and Roger “Pappaw” Freeman; great-grandparents Charles and Jane Stapleton; and great-grandmother Winnifred Whitehead.

In addition to his parents he is survived by grandparents Kay Freeman of Scottown, and Nora Stapleton and James Griffing of Chesapeake; great-grandfather, Jack Whitehead; two uncles Mark Cremeans of Chesapeake, and Scott Tagg of Scottown; best friend Zach “Squrl” Cremeans; love of his life, Autumn Rose Best and a host of family and friends.

He was employed by Arnoldt Construction. He was a graduate of Lawrence County Vocational School with the honor of top in his autobody class 2010.

A graveside service will be conducted 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Freeman Cemetery, Scottown, by Pastor Orville Wise. Visitation will be 10 – 11 a.m. Saturday at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville.
