$200,000 bond set for Ironton-area man
Ironton Municipal Court Judge O. Clark Collins set bond at $200,000 for Joshua Wiseman, the man arrested earlier this week in connection with the hold up of the University Mart on Liberty Avenue.
Wiseman, 26, of 478 Private Drive 13, Ironton, was arraigned on charges of aggravated robbery and tampering with evidence. He must return to court July 7 for a preliminary hearing. Collins appointed attorney Mike Gleichauf to represent Wiseman.
Ironton police were called to the University Mart just after 5 p.m. Tuesday after the cashier said a man walked into the store, brandished a knife and ran off with money.
Using information from the cashier and two witnesses, authorities arrested Wiseman without incident the next day.
Wiseman remains in the Lawrence County Jail.
