IPD arrests two for breaking and entering

Two men were arrested after they allegedly broke into a man’s garage and stole items last week.
The Ironton Police Department arrested Ray Edward S. Kerns, of 203 Private Road 1724, Ironton, and Johnny L. Campbell, of 513 Township Road 250, South Point, and charged them with breaking and entering for allegedly stealing a Nintendo Wii, an iPod Touch and a guitar.
The burglary occurred during the night Thursday in the 1500 block of South Fourth Street.
Both men were arraigned Monday in Ironton Municipal Court and both pleaded not guilty.
Recognizance bonds of $10,000 were set in each case. Both men are scheduled to be back in court Thursday.
