Misuse of credit card — 100 block of County Road 1, Lot 56, South Point, April 8, man reports his credit card was used without his permission. Suspect named.

Theft — Private Drive 4511, South Point, April 25, woman reports her son’s phone was stolen from his backpack while at school.

Domestic violence — Township Road 124, Chesapeake, April 25, man allegedly choked woman, slammed her head into a counter. Woman allegedly threw a can of hairspray at the man’s head. Robert R. Simpkins, 44, of 40 Township Road 124, Chesapeake, and Mariha D. Blair, 29, of same address, arrested and taken to jail.

Inducing panic, aggravated menacing — 300 block of Private Drive 288, South Point, April 28, man reportedly told a Walmart employee that the store was about to be robbed.

Threats — Ironton High School, 2:54 p.m. Wednesday, person reportedly made threats. Logged.

Domestic — 300 block of Mastin, 6:25 p.m. Wednesday, woman reports her son said his father hit him. CPS advised.

Trouble — 6:54 p.m. Wednesday, woman reports someone threw her son into a pool. Advised, will check the area.

Theft — South Ninth and Vernon Street, 10:22 p.m. Wednesday, man reports a woman is stealing copper from demolished houses. Negative contact.
