Man gets five years for drug charges

An Ironton man was sentenced Wednesday to five years in prison for drug charges.
Ryan Roach, 25, of 501 Kemp Ave., pleaded guilty to complicity to trafficking in drugs, complicity to aggravated trafficking in drugs and corrupting another with drugs.
Judge Charles Cooper sentenced the man to five years in prison and ordered that he pay a $1,500 fine and have his driver’s license suspended for six months.
In other cases:
Tonia Clark, 31, of 2528 S. 11th St., Ironton, pleaded guilty to complicity to aggravated trafficking in drugs and aggravated trafficking in drugs.
Cooper sentenced Clark to four years in prison, a $10,000 fine and a mandatory driver’s license suspension.
Samuel Clark, 36, of 301 Third Street East, South Point, admitted a CCS violation. Cooper sentenced Clark to one year in prison.
Joshua Harmon, 28, of 615 Monroe St., Ironton, admitted a CCS violation. Cooper sentenced Harmon to 18 months in prison.
Linda Neace, 38, of Greenup, Ky., pleaded guilty to theft from a disabled person. Cooper ordered a presentence investigation and set sentencing for May 18.
Mickey Petry, 51, of Wheelersburg, pleaded guilty to aggravated trafficking in drugs and trafficking in drugs. Cooper sentenced Petry to four years in prison and $11,500 in fines.
Georgetta Collins, 39, of Wheelersburg, pleaded guilty to aggravated trafficking in drugs and trafficking in drugs.
Cooper ordered a presentence investigation and scheduled sentencing for May 11.
Roger McKinney, 46, of 223 Township Road 1186 #15, South Point, pleaded guilty to attempted felonious assault, a third-degree felony.
Bowling sentenced McKinney to successfully complete the STAR community justice program along with four years of community-controlled sanctions. Three years in prison have been reserved for McKinney in the event he violates his CCS.
Jacob Morrison, 23, of 2328 County Road 30, Kitts Hill, pleaded guilty to aggravated drug possession, operating a vehicle while under the influence and operating a vehicle without proper insurance.
Bowling sentenced Morrison to successfully complete the STAR community-justice program, four years of CCS, 60 days and 30 days in jail to run concurrently with STAR, and fines totaling $1,750.
David Blevins, 26, of 2341 County Road 22, Ironton, admitted violating the terms of his CCS by being charged with new crimes.
Bowling sentenced Blevins to three months in prison.
Daniel Coyne, 20, of 2118 Goodwill Road, Huntington, W.Va., pleaded guilty to receiving stolen property.
Bowling sentenced Coyne to successfully complete the STAR community-justice program, four years of CCS and reserved 11 months in prison in the event that Coyne violates the terms of his CCS.
Eric McGuire, 24, of 2301 S. Sixth St., Ironton, denied violating CCS by being discharged from the STAR community-justice program. Bowling set a CCS trial for May 11.
Brandon L. Mullens, 28, of 171 Township Road 34, Ironton, denied a CCS violation. Bowling scheduled a CCS trial for May 4.
Stephen Payne, 60, of 5090 Hecla St., Ironton, pleaded guilty to two counts of aggravated drug trafficking.
Bowling sentenced Payne to nine months in prison and invoked a mandatory driver’s licenses suspension.
