Richard Schwab II

Richard Eugene Schwab II, 44, of Ironton passed away April 6, 2011. The Ironton native was born Jan. 8, 1967, the son of Richard and Gloria Pinkerman Schwab of Ironton.
Richard was a 1985 graduate of Ironton High School. He was an employee of the Rock Hill School District as a part-time bus driver, Kids Sale Consignment and custodian at Woodland Chapel Church.
He was a former transporter for Saint Mary’s Hospital and former employee of Phillips Funeral Home, Industrial Sanitation and Big Sandy’s. He was vice-president of the Rock Hill Band Boosters and coached Rock Hill Little League, youth football and basketball for many years. He assisted with the Rock Hill High School athletics and was the cameraman for the basketball team.
He was preceded in death by a sister-in-law: Mary Donohue; brother-in-law; Eddie Donohue; father-in-law, Paul Donohue; Mother-in-law, Wanda Donohue; and brother-in-law, Bob Bellomy.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife, Dale Donohue Schwab, whom he married June 15, 1991; four children, Jonathan Edward Schwab, Andrew Tyler Schwab, Allison Nicole Schwab and Jacob Aaron Schwab, all at home; sister and brother-in-law, Angela and Steve Martin of Milton, W.Va.; brother-in-law: Rich and Lori Donohue; sister-in-law, Sharon and Mike Smith; sister-in-law, Donna and Bill Osgood; and sister-in-law, Paula Bellomy.
Funeral will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 12, 2011, at Woodland Chapel Church with Brother Dave Schug and John Paul Patterson officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery. Friends may call Monday evening from 6 until 9 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home 1004 S. Seventh St., Ironton and Tuesday after 12 p.m. at the church. Pallbearers for the service will be Jonathan Schwab, Andrew Schwab, Chris Donohue, David Smith, Paul Smith, Robby Bellomy and Ben Osgood. Honorary Pallbearers are Allison and Jacob Schwab.
