Both teams come into the game at 4-2 and are tied for second ªplace.

The two teams are quite familiar with each other as they played in Saginaw just less than a month ago. The Hammer stopped the Sting on a 4th-and-goal in the final seconds to preserve a 38-37 victory.

The Sting rank second in the league in total offense behind Northern Kentucky.

Most of their success is the result of their quarterback Tommy Jones.

Jones is the league’s second best passer, averaging 236 passing yards per game and tossing 32 touchdowns this season.

The Hammer defense will look to stop Jones’ favorite target, LaVaughn Macon, who leads the league in receptions and has caught 13 touchdown passes this season.

Huntington will look to rebound on the defensive side of the ball as they gave up over 300 yards of total offense and more than 40 points in a game for the first time this season in their loss last weekend.

Their success will rely on their defensive front of Andre Portis, Joshua Kaltsas, and Rodney Fritz. The three have tallied 12.5 of the teams 19 sacks so far this season.

In the least meeting the Hammer defense limited Jones to only 124 passing yards and 142 total yards on the game.

Huntington’s offense will look for Martevious Young to again come up with big plays with his arm and legs. Young leads the league in rushing and has accounted for nine rushing touchdowns and thrown for 17 touchdowns.

Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m.
