William Brammer

ROCK CAMP — William S. Brammer, 69, of Rock Camp, passed away Friday, March 11, 2011, at his residence. He was born June 13, 1941, the son of the late C. C. and Catherine (Emmett) Brammer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Jonna Hitchcock.

Mr. Brammer was a 1959 graduate of Dawson-Bryant High School and a U.S. Army veteran. He was a former chemical operator at Allied Chemical in South Point and of the Methodist faith.

He is survived by his wife, Daisy (Crickett) Newman Brammer, whom he married June 7, 1960; one son and daughter-in-law, William C. (Nancy) Brammer of Rock Camp; two daughters and a son-in-law, Pamela (Randy) Webb of Ironton and Teresa Henry of Rock Camp; five grandchildren, Sarah Sansom, Ashley Brammer, Chris Brammer, Colton Hitchcock and Cody Henry; three great-grandchildren, Hannah Sansom, Maryah Hitchcock and Brooklyn Hitchcock; and one sister and brother-in-law,Linda (Ronald) Gannon of Ironton.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Tracy Brammer Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Long officiating. Interment will follow in Leatherwood Cemetery.
