Unruly child — Westbound lane of U.S. 52 exit, March 1, stepfather alleges child slapped, cursed and screamed at him while in the car. Child transported to group house.

Petty theft – County Road 15, South Point, March 1, man reports $800 four-wheeler stolen from property.

Burglary — Lawrence Village Apartments, Feb. 28, man reports guitar, golf clubs and toolbox taken from property. Items worth $3,300.

Aggravated burglary — Township Road 1347, March 1, Chesapeake, man reports computer, VCR, DVD and change taken from garage.

Possession of drugs — Township Road 1210, Proctorville, March 2, mother calls for deputies to come at home. Deputies report they search man’s room and find four bags of marijuana, a pill bottle of marijuana seeds, a small scale, a bottle with several pills of neurontin, three syringes, and a spoon with heroin rock. Jeffrey A. Moore II, 26, of 45 Township Road, Proctorville, arrested for trafficking in drugs, possession of drugs and possession of drug abuse instruments, and taken to jail.

Burglary — Township Road 1216, Proctorville, March 2, man reports saw, hammer and extension cord from garage.

Petty theft — Walmart, South Point, March 3, man allegedly took blanket from store without paying. Tony J. Taylor, 30, Rt. 3, Milton, W.Va., arrested for petty theft and taken to jail.

Domestic violence — Township Road 218, Ironton, March 4, woman alleges her common-in-law husband locked her out of her home, kept her from her children in the house and broke her cell phone. Joseph R. Morris, 35, 992 Township Road 218, arrested for domestic violence and disrupting public service, and taken to jail.

Theft, criminal trespass — 700 block of Township Road 111, Ironton, March 3, woman reports tin roofing stolen from property. Eric Michael Wilson, 32, of 9178 State Route 93, Pedro, arrested and taken to jail.

Aggravated menacing — 1200 block of County Road 70, Proctorville, March 4, man reports another man followed his vehicle and threatened him when the men stopped. Suspect named.

Theft — 20600 block of State Route 93, South Webster, Monday, woman reports husband’s medication missing. Suspect named.

Domestic violence — Township Road 1334, South Point, March 5, man arrested and taken to jail for allegedly hitting his son. He allegedly came back to the residence, violating a protection order. The man’s stepson allegedly took his air compressor as the family attempted to move out. Ronald Kawlaski, 40, of 33 1/2 Township Road 1334, South Point, arrested and taken to jail. Juvenile taken to group home.

Violating a protection order — 1100 block of County Road 1, South Point, woman reports go-cart taken. Suspect named.

Petty theft — 200 block of County Road 410 South Point, March 5, woman allegedly took an item from Walmart and didn’t pay for it as she went through the checkout. Toni Michelle Spears, 30, of 1614 Artisan Ave., Huntington, W.Va., arrested.

Domestic violence — 200 block of Private Road 2076, County Road 30, Kitts Hill, March 5, woman alleges her boyfriend threw her around by the hair, slapped her. Suspect named.

Theft — 100 block of Top Street, South Point, Feb. 5, man reports weapon missing from his dresser drawer.

Domestic violence — 16300 block of State Route 7, Crown City, March 5, woman reports her husband pinned her against a wall, twisted her wrist, and threatened her. Levi T. Short, 24, of 16319 State Route 7, Crown City, arrested and taken to jail.

Door to door soliciting — 8:37 p.m. Monday, 11 subjects brought to police station in reference to door-to-door soliciting.

Assault — Alley behind Bartram’s grocery store, 8:54 p.m. Monday, woman reports a domestic dispute during a woman was injured. One to sheriff’s office, information for report.

Domestic — 1100 block of South Seventh Street, woman reports her husband is threatening her and her boyfriend. Subject left prior to arrival.

Trespassers — Woodland Cemetery 7:01 p.m. Monday, three men allegedly came into cemetery even though gates were locked. Unable to locate.

Suspicious person — 1700 block of South Fourth Street 7:30 p.m. Monday, man reports someone tried to enter his front door. Spoke to caller, unable to locate anyone matching the description.

Prowlers/ theft — 2400 block of South Eighth Street, 7:45 p.m. Monday, woman reports someone stole her gazing ball.

Door to door solicitors — 2600 block of South Tenth Street, woman reports someone came to door and tried to sell her magazines. Unable to locate, will keep check.

Domestic — 1500 block of South Fourth Street, woman reports her husband hit her. Negative contact with male.

Shoplifter — Third Street 3:45 p.m. Monday, man reports an alarm went off at CVS and a man ran out. Spoke to CVS, they were not aware and did not wish to pursue any charges.

Criminal damaging — woman reports her car received multiple scratches while parked at Ohio University Southern. Log only.
