ASHLAND, Ky. — It is with much eagerness and enthusiasm that the Highlands Museum & Discovery Center announces “Horsin’ Around With Murder,” a mystery dinner theatre that will be held on Friday, March 25 and Saturday, March 26 at 7 p.m. at the museum.

This fundraiser will help the museum continue its ongoing mission to provide heritage education for all ages. The night’s events include the presentation of “Horsin’ Around With Murder” performed by the Bluegrass Mystery Theatre located in Lexington, Ky., a silent auction and a full course meal.

In “Horsin’ Around With Murder” everyone is in town for the horse races and they are all gathered here tonight for the book signing of equine writer and mama’s boy Houston Dallas’s first novel, “A Horse Is A Horse, Of Course Of Course.”

Some of the guests include Houston’s girlfriend Deneeze Arshot, the French reining judge who was a vaulting competitor until she got hurt, his good friend Steed Roper a former reining champ who mysteriously disappeared from the public eye two years ago and who now has a Cockney accent.

Cheyenne Sassy the current reining champ and Steed Ropers new girlfriend, who is a poor southern girl who worked her way through college doing “odd” jobs and finally the head dressage judge Taryn Wear who has discovered that you can be anything if you have enough money, even a judge.

Everyone has a secret they don’t want revealed, but before the night is over all the secrets come out and one of them ends up dead in this comedy by Paula Hilton. See if you can figure out “who done it” and win the evening’s prize!

Tickets are on sale now and are $50 each.

Ticket price includes the presentation of “Horsin’ Around With Murder”, and a full course meal by Mary’s Kitchen Catering. Guests may come to the museum to view silent auction items as early as 5:30 p.m. Silent auction winners will be announced following the Saturday evening show.

High bidders from Friday night will be contacted by phone if they are outbid.
