Nancy Ruth Bond

BUCYRUS — Nancy Ruth Bond, 74, of Bucyrus, died Monday, Feb. 14, 2011, at her residence. The York, Ky., native was born Nov. 30, 1936, the daughter of the late Russell and Gladys Burton Harper. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Franklin D. Bond, who died Nov. 8, 1989.
Mrs. Bond was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, William Harper; three sisters, Helen Coleman, Juanita Sloan and Dorothy Brown; and two grandchildren, Paul Eric Dyer and Wyatt D. Bond.
She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Barb and Bob Byrne of Bucyrus; son, Russell Bond of Bucyrus; son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Victoria Bond of Portsmouth;
son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Beth Bond of Bucyrus; son and daughter-in-law, Timothy and Kimberly Bond of Bucyrus; daughter and son-in-law, Penny Lloyd and Steve Quarter of Bucyrus; son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Pam Bond of Bucyrus;
daughter, Connie Wyeth of Bucyrus; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Michael Brown of Wheelersburg; a brother, Robert Harper of Bucyrus; five sisters, Bess Carmichael of Bucyrus, Bonnie Christian of Michigan, Kenada Parker of Columbus, Ida Eulett of Bucyrus and Wilma Hamilton of Springfield; 23 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Phillips Funeral Home with Rev. Calvin Ray Evans and Elder Willard Large officiating.
