Domestic violence — County Road 1, South Point, Feb. 2, woman alleged man became violent over inquiries about another woman, grabbed her throat and slammed her in the wall of the bedroom.

Domestic violence — County Road 402, Proctorville, Feb. 2, woman alleged another woman called her names, pushed her and injured her knee. Rhonda K. Thoman, 49, 276 Township Road 1229, Proctorville, arrested for domestic violence and assault and taken to jail.

Petty theft — Township Road, 218, Ironton, Feb. 2, woman reported class ring valued at $350 taken from home.

Criminal damaging — Township Road 1023, South Point, Feb. 2, man reported front and rear windows of his vehicle smashed, driver’s side mirror knocked off.

Petty theft — Walmart, South Point, Feb. 3, man allegedly took items from store worth $31 without paying. Jimmy O. Hardwick, 26, 306 W. 22nd St., Huntington, W.Va., arrested for petty theft and taken to jail.

Domestic violence — Township Road 1186, South Point, Feb. 3, woman alleged husband pulled hair, hit her chest and chin with his fist and slapped her unconscious.

Theft — Township Road 1042, Chesapeake, Feb. 3, woman reports cell phone valued at $50 taken from house.

Domestic violence — Wallace Street, Proctorville, Feb. 3,woman alleged mother hit her in the face and kicked her in the throat. Tammy S. Aldridge, 51, of 1000 Wallace St., Proctorville, arrested for domestic violence and taken to jail.

Theft — Township Road 1161, Proctorville, Feb. 3, man reported two guns taken from cabinet.

Domestic violence — Township Road 1125, Proctorville, Feb. 7, woman alleged daughter pushed her and hit her in the face over her grandchild.

Felonious assault — County Road 12, Proctorville, Feb. 6, man alleged two men kicked in door of house where he was staying, hit him in face with baseball bat.
